RCIC (Children) Requirements

Catechumens

• Children 7 years old or older, without prior receiving any Sacrament, are allowed to be enroll in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children Process (RCIC).
• This Process will take two years of formation and reflection on the Catholic Faith, in order to get ready to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist.
• Children are encouraged to attend most of the sessions scheduled for their formation.

Parents

• Parents are encouraged to enroll their children, who are 7 years old and up, in this process if they have not received any Sacrament, before being enrolled.
• Parents should make efforts to support their children, in their formation for the reception of their Sacraments of Initiation, by bringing them to their sessions on time.
• Parents should attend the scheduled meetings in order to reflect on their children’s progress concerning their formation, and to organize everything concerning the reception of the Sacraments.
• Please provide a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate.

Requisitos RCIC (Niños)

Catecúmenos

• Niños de 7 años o más, sin Sacramentos, deberán ser registrados en el Proceso de Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Niños (RCIC)
• El proceso tomará dos años de formación de la Fe en orden a preparase para recibir los Sacramentos de Bautismo, Confirmación y Eucaristía.
• Los niños deberán atender frecuentemente a las sesiones agendadas para su formación.

 
Padres

• Están invitados a registrar a sus hijos de 7 años o más y que no han recibido ningún Sacramento en este proceso.
• Apoyar a sus hijos en su formación para la recepción de sus Sacramentos de Iniciación Cristiana trayéndolos a tiempo para sus sesiones.
• Atender a las reuniones de padres agendadas para analizar el progreso de los niños en su formación y organizar todo lo concerniente a la recepción de sus Sacramentos.
• Proveer una Copia del Certificado de Nacimiento de su hijo(a).
