Marriage Course Requirements

  • The course of preparation is offered by the Diocese of Raleigh in both Spanish and/or in English languages.
  • The couple need to register for the course at least 2-3 weeks before the course begins.
  • Be on time to all scheduled sessions.
  • Participate responsibly on all the days of the two scheduled Retreats for this program.
  • Attend Sunday Mass and on Holy Days of Obligation, at the scheduled Mass time that is best for you.
    The schedule is as follow:

Saturdays

4 p.m. English

Sundays

8 and 10 a.m. English

12:30 p.m. Spanish

  • Schedule the Marriage date at least 6 months to 1 year before its celebration.
  • Provide the necessary paperwork for the couple, in order to prepare everything concerning the Matrimony Ceremony.
  • Concerning the decoration of the church, only "natural" flower arrangements are allowed. Please do not bring artificial decorations.
  • If you wish to rent the Parish Center, talk directly to the Parish Secretary at: 252-758-1504.

Requisitos Curso Matrimonial

  • El curso de preparación lo ofrece la Diócesis de Raleigh en Inglés o en Español. La parroquia ofrece una alternativa de preparación más profunda. La pareja puede elegir lo que se ajuste a sus posibilidades.
  • Registrarse en el curso matrimonial de 2 a tres semanas antes de iniciar el curso.
  • Asistir puntualmente a todas las sesiones agendadas para el curso.
  • Participar con responsabilidad en los retiros del curso programados (2).
  • Participar en la Misa todos los domingos y días de obligación o de precepto en el horario que más se ajuste a sus necesidades:

Sábados

Inglés: 4 p.m.

Domingos

Inglés: 8 a.m. y 10 a.m.

Español: 12:30 p.m.

  • Una vez terminado el curso, agendar fecha de celebración de la boda con seis meses o un año de anticipación.
  • Proporcionar la documentación necesaria de ambos en orden a preparar todo lo concerniente a la ceremonia matrimonial.
  • Para la decoración de la iglesia solo se permiten arreglos de flores naturales para el altar, favor de no traer decoraciones artificiales.
